Boys our final round of reg season games kicked off this past Friday. Both games were not close. Early tilt between Rabba Scotland and Dupal Studios Italia. 2-1 for the Scots after 1 period. 4-1 for the Scots after 2. Scotland continued its dominance with 3 more goals in the 3rd period for a final victory of 7-1. Scotland went 1-1 on the PP and Italia was 0-1. Tim Randa scored the lone goal for Italy. Scotland got 2 goals each from Brad Stoll, Dave Wodar, and Patrick Sharp and a single from the big Super Bowl Squares winner Enzo Ianno. Players of the Game went to Scotlands Frank Nweisser.

And for the Italians their entire team, Forza Italia.

Late game between David Dodic Slovenia and Chinook Paddles Ireland. Slovs down to 9 skaters for this one. Ireland starting forward line was Brideau, Robb and McCormick sending the fear of death into the Slovs. Thats like a million points between the 3 of them. 3-1 for the Slovs after 1 period. 7-1 after 2 frames. Final period saw both squads score once for a final Slovenian victory of 8-2. Jay Cummings and Pat McCormick scored for Ireland. David Dodic and Mike Rukavina both scored hat tricks and singles from Dave Skingley and Eric Fletcher. Penalty free game, yeah!!!! Players of the Game went to Slovenias Mike Rukavina.

And for the Irish, maybe why they were off for this one is what was waiting for them after the game.

So this weeks games Friday, February 25 at 9:15 pm is Portugal vs Slovenia and at 10:30 Ireland vs Italy. Scotland gets the week off. See you all on the ice boys!
