Ok our last set of games of our first round of reg season games. Early game between both 2 and 1 Scotland and Portugal. 1-1 after the first period. Both squads scores twice in the 2nd as this tilt was all square at 3 – 3 after 2 periods. All Portuguese in the 3rd period as they score 3 times and add an empty netter for a 7-3 final victory. Scotland got goals from Patty Sharp, Frank Nweisser and Steve Sparrow. Portugal got a hat trick from Mike Russo, 2 goals from Joe Peacock and singles from Alan Robb and Mike Rukavina. Penalty free game. Players of the Game went to Scotlands Frank Nweisser.

And for the Portuguese the handsome Jay Cummings.

Late game between Slovenia and Italy. All Forza Italia in the 1st as they jump out to a 4-0 lead. Slov’s battle back in the 2nd scoring twice, one a penalty shot by Mr. Brideau. Final frame saw both squads score twice for a final victory for Italy 6-4. Slovenia got 2 goals from rookie Chris Deware and singles from Leo Brideau and Mike Paciuc. For Italy 2 goals each for Brad Stoll and Marcello Di Luzio and singles from Johnny Fasulo and Agostino Falcone. Players of the Game went to Slovenia’a Chris Deware and for Italy a true Italian Jodie Young.

Ok this week Friday, November 4 we kick off our 2nd round of games. 9:15 the 2-2 Scotland will play the 3 and 1 Italians. At 10:30 both squads at 1 and 3 as Ireland will play Slovenia. Portugal gets the week off. Happy Halloween Boys and see you all on the ice!
